Remarkable tree in Covas (Rubiá, Ourense), 466 m above sea level, 14.1 km from O Barco.

A aciñeira de Covas é unha aciñeira (Quercus ilex L. subsp. ballota) recoñecida legalmente como árbore senlleira pola Xunta de Galicia. O exemplar, de propiedade privada, localízase na Serra da Enciña da Lastra, na estrada de acceso ao lugar de Covas no concello de Rubiá, a súa altura é de 1 800 centímetros, o toro ten un perímetro na base de 650 cm e del saen tres pólas grosas, estímase a súa idade en 500 anos.
