O castelo de Cedofeita foi un castelo medieval situado na parroquia de Lérez, no concello de Pontevedra. A construción orixinal consistía nunha atalaia defensiva na pendente dun outeiro, dominando a ría de Pontevedra, na contorna da ruta Tui-Santiago. Probablemente este castelo estivese construído sobre as estruturas dunha construción castrexa anterior.

Historia

Tense constancia por vez primeira do castelo de Cedofeita no ano 916, nunha doazón do rei Ordoño II e a raíña Elvira ao abade Guntado do mosteiro de Lérez. Nesa doazón, referíase ao castelo co nome de Citofacta, tal e como se mencionaba nunha das súas inscricións:
