Fortified settlement in Foxado, Curtis, 500 m above sea level, 4.8 km from Teixeiro.
Castromelas é un castro situado en Foxado, Curtis. Mantén unha forma irregular tendendo a elíptica. Mide no eixe maior de leste a oeste uns 75 metros e de norte a sur uns 50 metros. Sobre ela construíuse unha estrutura medieval xa derruída. Ten unha soa liña defensiva e foxo. Está situado nunha pequena elevación na chaira aproveitando o terreo.
