Silleda é un concello da provincia de Pontevedra pertencente á comarca do Deza. Ocupa 169 km², e segundo o IGE en 2022 tiña 8.860 habitantes, distribuídos en 33 parroquias e 250 lugares. O concello de Silleda é coñecido tamén como Trasdeza. O seu xentilicio (véxase no Galizionario) é «silledense». En Silleda ten a súa sede a Feira Internacional de Galicia, onde se celebra anualmente a Semana Verde de Galicia.
