San Mamede de Torroso é unha parroquia que se localiza no concello de Mos. O patrón é San Mamede, que tamén é o patrón de devandito municipio. Está situado dentro da zona de influencia do Val da Louriña, entre os concellos do Porriño, Redondela, Pazos de Borbén, Ponteareas e Vigo. Segundo o INE en 2010 tiña 1.350 habitantes (711 mulleres e 636 homes), distribuídos en 12 entidades de poboación, o que supón un aumento en relación ao ano 1999 cando tiña 1.252 habitantes. Segundo o IGE, no 2020 a súa poboación medrara ata os 1.377 habitantes, sendo 708 mulleres e 660 homes.
