Segundo o Instituto Galego de Estatística, en 2020 tiña 70 habitantes (31 homes e 39 mulleres), distribuídos en 2 entidades de poboación, o que supón unha diminución en relación ao ano 1999 cando tiña 128 habitantes. Eclesiasticamente pertence ó Arciprestado de Céltigos e é parroquia anexa de San Martiño de Meanos.
