O Pedrón de Padrón é unha ara romana dedicada a Neptuno. Pódese ler nesta ara a inscrición «NO ORI ESES D S P», que se interpreta como: (Neptu)no Orieses d(e) s(uo) p(osucrunt) "A Neptuno, os orieses, colocaron esta ara ás súas expensas". A tradición cristiá da Translatio Xacobea, recollida no Libro III do Códice Calixtino, relata que os discípulos do apóstolo Santiago amarraron no Pedrón a barca que portaba o corpo do santo. Na parte superior do Pedrón gravouse ademais unha cruz, seguindo o costume de cristianizar o pagán. A ara custódiase baixo o altar maior da igrexa de Santiago de Padrón. O propio nome da vila de Padrón deriva etimoloxicamente de "pedrón".
