Mugardos é un concello da provincia da Coruña, que pertence á comarca de Ferrol. Está situado no Golfo Ártabro, na chamada Península de Bezoucos. Segundo o IGE en 2016 tiña 5.335 habitantes (2.540 homes e 2.688 mulleres). O seu xentilicio (véxase no Galizionario) é «mugardés». Mugardos limita ao norte coa ría de Ferrol, ao leste con Fene e ao sur e oeste con Ares.
