O Instituto de Ensinanza Secundaria Canido é un centro educativo de Ferrol, pertencente á rede de institutos públicos da Xunta de Galicia no que se imparte Educación Secundaria Obrigatoria e Bacharelato. Está situado na rúa Navegantes, no barrio de Canido, parte alta ó noroeste da cidade de Ferrol, dentro do casco urbano e lindante coas antigas murallas. Dende a súa localización pódese ver a enseada da Malata (ría de Ferrol), Feira de Mostras e as instalacións deportivas municipais (Estadio de fútbol, campos de fútbol anexos, canchas de tenis, polideportivo cuberto, piscina cuberta, estadio de atletismo) e máis lonxe as parroquias de Serantes, Xoane, A Cabana e A Graña.
