O Moncai é un pico situado na serra do mesmo nome, cunha altitude de 531 m. Está situado en medio do Val de Lemos, entre os concellos da Pobra do Brollón e Monforte de Lemos. Está nas parroquias de Fornelas e A Parte. Varias aldeas rodean o cumio, no nordés está Fornelas; no norte, Camporrío; no noroeste, A Parte e no suroeste, Remuín. Está situado entre o río Saa (nordeste) e o Cabe (nordés-norte-oeste).
