Segundo o Instituto Galego de Estatística en 2007 tiña tres habitantes (un home e dúas mulleres), a mesma cantidade ca en 2003. Neste lugar está o Faro de Punta Candieira, sendo o fareiro e a súa familia os únicos veciños.
