Segundo o padrón municipal de 2004 tiña 946 habitantes (515 mulleres e 431 homes), distribuídos en 22 entidades de poboación, o que supón unha diminución en relación ao ano 1999 cando tiña 976 habitantes. Segundo o IGE, no 2014 a súa poboación descendera ata os 832 habitantes, sendo 381 homes e 451 mulleres.
