Segundo o padrón municipal de 2004 tiña 875 habitantes distribuídos en 13 entidades de poboación en 8,7 km², o que supón un aumento importante en relación ao ano 1999 cando tiña 866 habitantes. Ten unha superficie de 680 hectáreas.
